Sustainable womenswear crafted from natural fabrics and traditional techniques
Trippies Clothing is a sustainable womenswear brand from Freetown, Sierra Leone, we design elegant, timeless pieces made from natural fabrics such as cotton, linen and handwoven textiles using traditional African techniques such as batik, hand dyeing, and weaving.
Our products focus includes kaftans, palazzo pants, kimonos, tailored pant suits, shirt dresses, and coat dresses. All our pieces are crafted in our home studio in Freetown in small batches with fabrics sourced locally and across West Africa. Each piece we make tells a story of heritage, culture and craftsmanship while creating opportunities for women and youth.
Trippies is open to collaborations with boutiques, concept stores, and cultural institutions across Africa and internationally, and our team can fulfill small to mid size wholesale orders.
Notable highlights include pop ups in Kigali and Gaborone and the launch of Bloom Creative Hub, our vocational training arm offering TVET certified skills in tailoring, weaving, and batik.
